Last chance to cut taxes

Owe income tax?
There is one way to reduce your 2015 tax bill NOW that 2015 is over. You can deduct up to $5,500 ($6,500 age >50) per spouse on line 32 Form 1040. You must be under age 70½ at the end of the tax year in order to contribute to a traditional IRA. There is no age limit to contribute to a Roth IRA but you don’t get the deduction since all the gains are FREE. You must have taxable compensation—wages, salaries or self-employment. It also includes tips, commissions, bonuses and alimony. If you are married and file a joint tax return, only one spouse needs to have compensation in most cases. You may also qualify for the Saver’s Credit on line 51. It can reduce your taxes up to $2,000 if you file a joint return. You have until April 18 to reduce your bill. You can amend your return if you forgot to take deductions for teachers, student loan/tuition, early withdrawal, alimony, energy saver, and other taxes paid.
Refund? Create a tax-FREE retirement painlessly: http://www.amazon.com/Tax-Refund-Millionaires-Let-Uncle-Help/dp/149595644X

Protect your tax refund—use your Protection PIN
Save yourself the grief of fighting for your refund and your ID. It takes 9 months to resolve Identity Theft cases. Use a PIN on your return that thieves can’t submit on a fake return. Even if they have your Social, they don’t have your P PIN. Send in this Form 14039 to the IRS for your P PIN and use it on your return.
https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f14039.pdf. Anyone who has had their bank or store account hacked may be a victim so this PIN may be used each year. IRS will send you a new one each year. The IRS rejected or suspended the processing of 4.8 million suspicious returns last year.
Don’t be next.

Can Warren Buffett make you a millionaire?
Mr Buffett has made thousands of investors in his company Berkshire Hathaway millionaires and billionaires. His record over 50 years is unmatched by Wall Street because he does not trade securities nor time the market or do ANY of the things the “professionals” swear we should do to become wealthy. Ironically, Buffett does not charge an annual fee or a commission or an inactivity fee or a fee of any kind. In fact, Buffett tells us NOT to pay anybody to invest for you. He has provided us with all the information we need to become millionaires on our own for FREE. He does not sell anything. He doesn’t need the money—he has $72 billions already.

Did you sell when the market fell 11% this year?
If you did NOTHING, you are following the Investment Wisdom to Live Well By. If you sold on February 11 or 12, I’m sorry. Have you re-invested in the market or held cash? If you went to bonds, you may be down less than 1%. It is almost impossible to know when to buy and sell at the right times to take advantage of the volatility of the market. Hedge funds with “brilliant” salespeople have not had a great year although they have all been paid well. But if you are not a trader or hedge fund manager, you are trying to figure out what to do next.
Why not follow the investment wisdom of the ages with Buffett, Bogle and the Bible as your guide: http://www.amazon.com/Buffett-Bogle-Holy-Bible-Investment/dp/1523693045

GOP Religion wins in FL – no choice for women when clinics close
FL bill is similar to a Texas law requiring admitting privileges at a nearby hospital, which is now being challenged before the U.S. Supreme court. The measure goes to Gov for signature. Sen. Kelli Stargel, R-Lakeland, said her bill is not intended to outlaw abortion — which she admitted she would like to do, if the courts would allow it.
GOP uses regulations when it helps install GOP religious beliefs.
GOP wants NO regulation of global warming even if it kills us!
Even Forbes, the Capitalist Tool, is advocating action on warming, especially in low areas like FL and TX, despite Rubio, Cruz and Gov Scott and Abbott denials. You can’t stick your head in the sand anymore without drowning. 80% of FL and 70% of TX will be affected. Should you sell and move now? A new storm could reduce your equity even more if GOP does not even consider action now. Denial has no long-term benefits.
These are the people who run this country?

Did your broker tell you goodbye?
Most brokers and advisors are being told by their firm that they must drop clients with smaller balances. The reason is simple: profit. They claim that with the new regulation mandating that brokers offer you the best product for your situation (not just a satisfactory product with high commission), they can’t make money. For instance, the firm will not keep your account because a mutual fund that costs $0.05% per year that does the same thing as their fund that costs 2.2% is the best for you but is not profitable. They will only offer unique products like a “managed” account because it is profitable. A managed account is supposed to be designed just for you even though most are standardize portfolios by your age, risk tolerance and social class. The fiduciary rule will make investing less expensive and more rewarding for most investors. Some studies show that investors lose up to 63% of their possible accumulations to unnecessary fees and commissions. You will pay less and earn more.

Trump as President is logical outcome for GOP’s Tea Party revolt
The Teas have finally achieved their goals. After shutting the Federal government in 2013 and filling the House and Senate with “no compromise” representatives and turning back time in many state governments, the movement has created a new era in politics. America is reversing its trend to broader health care, environmental controls, social supports, better public schools, immigration, fewer military interventions, more reproductive choice, recognition of minorities, sexual expression, and religious freedom.
Where are the Teas taking us? Their goals are interpreted in different ways but the theme seems to be to go back to America in the 1950s or earlier when white Christian men created the most successful economy in history. Conservative white males made the rules for all of us to follow and the rules favored their class. They justified the system in the name of defense against the godless communists. They napalmed Vietnam to get rid of them. They created the military/industrial complex so America could arm the world profitably. Today the enemy is combo of terrorists, illegals, social support programs, non-Christians, gun controllers, regulation, voter ‘fraud’, big government, pro-choice laws, Social Security and Medicare expenses, liberal thoughts, and social toleration. A Milwaukee man is accused of killing his neighbors after finding out they didn’t speak English.
House GOP’s new budget will increase spending and cut SS and Medicare!!!

Does our President need to be smart and truthful? Do they even care about truth?

Trump: Individual allegiance (swear) to the Leader, not GOP, in FL rally =1935
“I think Islam hates us.” We can’t let people who hate us in. Muslims this time!

            And sometimes submarines!
Trump food and mags are not his—“Sorry, that line is discontinued.”
Glenn Beck compared Breitbart website to Hitler propagandist Goebbels.
Threatens 3rd party and GOP failure if not GOP choice at convention
Christie: I love spending Other People’s (Taxpayers) Money on my flights and lunch.
Carson: “Even if Trump is bad for America, his reign only lasts 4 years” Needs surgery

Hill: VP rumors are Michelle Obama, Kerry, Bernie and Liz Warren?
Bernie: CA is next biggie

Regulators are the only protection we have since we can’t sue anymore
“It is nearly impossible for one individual to take on a corporation with vast resources.” (GOP bill requires impossible: every person in class action suffer “same type and scope of injury”)
Supremes stop us from suing—State courts no longer available to sue corporations!

We need regulation—GOP wrong—companies/cities wouldn’t fix bad products on own

How did we get into debt to $19 TRILLION? Can we ever pay it off?
Each President has increased the public debt for different reasons. http://www.business insider.com/who-increased-the-debt-2012-9. Each party claimed it was doing what was best for the country. We got to $19 Trillion by spending more. Neither party will take us back to ZERO despite claims. No candidate, even GOP, is promising to reduce the debt. All want to increase debt because they all want to buy more military and more gov spending, cut taxes and pay the ever increasing interest on the debt. If other countries overspend too, does it make any difference in relations if we are all in debt to each other? If corporations change their tax address (on paper) to pay less tax and the wealthy move their assets to the lowest tax places, can any tax system built on individual accountability pay off its countries debt? … doubtful. Are the current tax territories (town, county, state, country) even relevant if those making the most money—corporations and top 3%--can fake a new tax addresses?

How our government wastes our money
EPA blamed for not stopping Gov Snyder from changing water supply of Flint but GOP             does not want EPA to regulate our water, air, food, etc. Nixon created for safety.

Our 'reps' benefit from tax evasion--they own the stocks!

Our ‘reps’ allow companies to avoid paying fair share—workers pick up debt
Tax rules written by people paid for by American multinationals give them enormous incentives to park their earnings outside the United States even without using a fake address like Pfizer. Executives are doing what is rational for themselves but it means that those of us who work in US are forced to tighten our belts, receive fewer services and mortgage our future with debt to China and others. Politicians promise us lower taxes and greater military spending to get elected. This ultimately means cuts to Social Security and Medicare for the working middle class.

Where our “Reps” put their investments—with tax evaders!
30 percent of senators and 20 percent of representatives "held assets in biomedical and health-care companies, or in specialty funds set up to invest in those industries, during 2014." The investments totaled upward of $68 million—more than lawmakers' combined investments in the defense and construction industries—and were concentrated on such major multinationals as Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, and Merck. While this may appear to be a conflict of interest, there is nothing illegal in this practice.

Should America limit the prices we pay for drugs and devices?
Martin Shkreli hasn’t changed. If anything, the provocative pharmaceutical CEO — who became “the most hated man in America” earlier this year — thinks he didn’t go far enough when he hiked the price of Daraprim by more than 5,000% overnight. “I would have raised prices higher,” Shkreli vowed on Thursday, after being asked how he would re-do the past three months. “That’s my duty.” Maximize profits for wealthy owners or keep price within range of average American who needs it? This is our challenge.
We pledged: “Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness” The phrase gives three examples of the "unalienable rights" which the Declaration says has been given to all human beings by their Creator, and for which governments are created to protect.
But if only the rich can afford drugs that give life, are we hurting ourselves?
Are drugs—good health—any different than utilities or water?

Congress Prepares Huge Tax-Break Giveaways for 2015
Despite GOP whining of overspending, they give tens of billions of dollars in tax breaks and other goodies to just about every conceivable interest group – from well-heeled corporate executives and film producers to rum makers, NASCAR track owners, and horse breeders. None of these breaks are paid for—our “reps” just add $87 Billion to the credit card like the wars they never declared in Afgan, Iraq, Syria, etc. GOP has plans to make business depreciation permanent costing $450 billion through 2025.

Vanguard is eating Wall Street’s bonus
Vanguard mutual funds – investing in no-sizzle index funds at low cost –is taking business from Wall Street firms at $20 Billion less profit this year alone. Their loss is your gain.

Is a hedge fund or alternative investment right for you?
Billionaire investor William Ackman's Pershing Square Capital Management hedge fund lost 2 percent in November and ended the first 11 months of the year with a 17 percent loss. On the other hand, if you had gone with Vanguard’s 500 index fund you would be up by 3% for the year and up 13% a year for 5 years and 11% a year since 1976.

The top reality TV Show in America!

Does our President need to be rational and truthful?

NO It’s entertainment like Apprentice—fake calamity for money!
“I won’t do the debate unless they pay me $5 million; it goes to wounded warriors vets.”

Cruz: "The overwhelming majority of violent criminals are Democrats." They vote?
On women’s health: “… we don't have a rubber shortage in America.”
Carson: refugees can live in camps forever “All they need is adequate funding.”
Fiorina: “I will not be bullied into telling the truth.” RE: rant on “baby parts” channeled      by CO gunman on Planned Parenthood?
Trump: tirade on immigrants channeled by Boston thugs beating up homeless?
Thinks 100 black pastors were bullied into NOT endorsing him
"thousands and thousands cheered” the collapse of the WTC in New Jersey.
Christie: “It didn’t happen and people can say anything, facts are the facts.” Right!
Cruz: Planned Parenthood attacked by “leftist activist”!
Carson: called for a “rational discussion.” … on Joseph building the Pyramids???
“I would not just stand there and let him shoot355 mass shootings in 365 days
Bachmann: 70 percent of refugees are “gang-age males” who rape non-Muslim women.
Obama: “No boots on ground” BUT sending special forces do raids, free hostages and capture ISIS leaders in both Iraq and Syria. Don’t they wear boots?

We need regulation—GOP is wrong—companies would not fix bad products on own
Regulators stop drug company patent abuse: “Some patents and extensions to patents             represent an unreasonable use of government regulation to enshrine monopoly             power to the detriment of the public at large,” Mr. Bass said. “This system must      be fixed or we will continue to pay more and more for the same old drugs we’ve          been buying for decades.” Generic drugs are bought out so we pay higher price    and for longer time.
Wells Fargo caught encouraging employees to open unauthorized consumer accounts and             then charging those accounts phony fees to meet sales.
Scott Valente, East Greenbush, N.Y., caught stealing $10.6 million; promised 36%.
Clarity Services and Tim Ranney caught illegally obtaining consumer credit reports.
Alpha Fiduciary and Arthur T. Doglione caught misleading clients with high returns.
Regulators: Any person on anti-terrorist "no fly" list can still buy assault weapons. WoW
Even Daily News is upset with lack of any legislation to stop our mass murders!

Persistent inequality hurts economic growth over the long run
Brilliant deduction by Morgan Stanley who sees it undermines incentives to work hard, get more education and improve skills. It may undermine trust in policy makers and social institutions, and lead to economic policy solutions such as increased market regulation, protectionism and anti- immigration measures. "In contrast [to post WWII years], middle-class aspirations are now running up against the wall of job and retirement insecurity." Advice: “That will benefit companies such as Nestle (Swiss), which is successful in catering to both higher- and lower-income customers.”

Do you have one? 7 cars buyers regret buying most
Consumer Reports’ annual survey of 230,000 car owners reports six other less obvious vehicles that led to a miserable experience. The seven cars from each category they rank are:
·  Jeep Compass, which exists only to tell other people you make poor life
·  The Nissan Quest minivan, slammed for bad visibility and a frustrating CVT
·  The Mercedes-Benz CLA, which—surprise!—feels cheap
·  The Nissan Altima, called “horrible” and “irritating” for its handling
·  The Hyundai Veloster, which felt cheap and underpowered
·  The Nissan Frontier, dinged for bad fuel economy and a terrible turning radius
·  And the Kia Rio, blasted for worse fuel economy than advertised and a harsh ride

HOW CONGRESS WASTES OUR TAX DOLLARS
Special Inspector General John F. Sopko has spent years documenting waste, fraud and abuse in the U.S. military’s efforts to rebuild war-torn Afghanistan. We have spent $110 billion on reconstruction projects in Afghanistan. When adjusted for inflation, that total exceeds the value of the entire Marshall Plan effort to rebuild Western Europe, WWII.
=More than $8 billion in spending on counter-narcotics efforts in Afghanistan that have “failed by every conceivable metric. Afgans grow poppies like we grow corn.
=The purchase of nearly $500 million worth of airplanes that never could fly and had to be turned into scrap.
=Construction of a building that literally began to melt when it rained.
A $500,000 health clinic that lacked water and electricity. Newborn babies had to be washed in a nearby dirty river.

Pentagon's $2.7-billion "zombie" program of radar-equipped blimps wreaked havoc on parts of the East Coast. Despite its well-documented deficiencies, lawmakers from both parties are planning to continue funding the system.
Do contributions to lawmakers have anything to do with it?

Wall Street trick deal cost US $560 million in taxes

Wall Street trick deal cost US $560 million in taxes
Accordia Life (Goldman Sachs) has avoided $560 million in taxes that we will have to pick up from just one deal in buying annuities of Athene née AvivaUSA (fmly UK’s Commercial Union). Some people bought annuities which are supposed to be backed by real bonds/securities but are now backed only by promissory notes from one subsidiary shell back to another. Aviva, Goldman and others have taken out billions of real cash leaving $1.7 billion to cover for the $7 billion required by insurance law. They use empty shells (captives) and tax havens and smiling state “regulators” to evade taxes. There are probably thousands of deals like this which cost US over $1 Trillion—adding to deficit.
Don’t pay the insurance companies’ taxes: http://www.amazon.com/Your-Tax-Haven-Tax-FREE-Americans/dp/1482659441

Compounded Cash: Save 40% with your self-funded “bank”

The wealthy know something you don't know—compounded cash. They put their money to work so they don't have to work. They invest in growing companies selling everything from oil to watches. Each of their $100 investment checks turns into $1,500 over time. They pay $24,000 for their $55,000 vehicle; $2.2 million for their $4 million mansion. DEM crazies
Bernie says “Jeb’s wealthy donors have contributed over one hundred million dollars to his Super PAC. This is not a democracy. This is oligarchy.” A few wealthy people run the country for their “life, liberty and pursuit of their happiness.” Not ours. Billionaire benefactors have bought up the private sector and in 2016 they may buy a presidential election. It happened in 2000, it can happen again. Supremes could throw election again
Bernie thinks he can win just because people showed up for his rallies and more people (NOT corporations) have contributed to his campaign than to any other candidate running for president, Democrat or Republican. Crazy!

College tuition assistance bill
America’s College Promise Act of 2015 proposes $3 worth of federal aid for every $1 invested by a state in order to waive community college tuition and fees for eligible students before other financial aid is applied.
GOP will never approve of kids going to college for FREE like they, the Congress people did. Most got full “scholarships” to Ivy League via “connections.”

Will GOP let Obama try peace with Iran?
“Trust but Verify” R Reagan said.
"Every path to a nuclear weapon has been cut off," President Obama declared in Washington. Addressing critics in Congress and Israel who say Iran can't be trusted to honor the agreement, Obama said the deal is not just built on trust but "on verification."
GOP wants to bomb Iraq, Iran, Syria, etc etc.
Should we give peace a chance? We can always go back to sanctions and bombing.

GOP crazies
Trump has “debate” slot but Donald doesn’t debate--Trump is a shouter/boss. “You’re fired!” He threatened drug lord El Chapo and got a threat back.
Can you see him as commander of the millions of nuclear weapons?

GOP and Obama agree—both speechless—deficit down 14%
Our budget deficit shrank by $52 billion, or 14 percent, during the first nine months of the 2015--tax receipts grew faster than spending, the CBO said. GOP stopped hitting Obama on economy.

Jeb is right?—we already work longer hours FOR LESS MONEY
Working 70 hours vs 60 (1969). http://www.bls.gov/opub/working/data/chart17.txt The $4.03-an-hour rate recorded in January 1973 has the same purchasing power as $22.41 would today. http://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2014/10/09/for-most-workers-real-wages-have-barely-budged-for-decades/

TX Gov asks Guard to still monitor invasion/takeover by US Army
McCarthy-style fear factor gives GOP power to keep money flowing to defeat Obama (“Hitler”) and their own ‘government’ threat: Army to “launch psychological operations to infiltrate society. Others maintained tunnels would be built to move troops and arms for surprise attacks on civilians.”
Hard to believe that people believe this stuff. Just like in the 50’s when GOP McCarthy used the label “communist” to stir fear among Americans. He called Lee J Cobb, Aaron Copland, Zero Mostel, Henry Morgan and Edward G Robinson ‘commies.’

Is a Zero percent auto loan right for you?
Sounds too good to be true. You think you can get a great new car and NO finance charge too. The catch: no more than 10 percent of people qualify. The point is to get you sold—at any price. You have high payments because you get 3 years not 6 to pay. Dealer will make up the interest cost with add-ons and extras you might have received free before. If you have great credit, you might receive more in the cash back with your credit union loan. Get a bank loan approval first so you have leverage with the car you really want. Actually, the best deal may be getting your loan on a higher value car that has already proved defect-free—used luxury. Save up to 40% on a 3-year old model luxury hybrid version. Value = quality at the right price: http://www.amazon.com/Buy-Value-financial-services-groceries/dp/1489513078

Buy Value and smile all the way to your new home
You could pay $500 a month for your vehicle but over 6 years that could grow to $50,000—a home down payment. Here are the Cheap COOL Rides: Toyota MR2, Alfa Romeo Spider, Mazda Miata, Mercedes CL500, Dodge D150 truck, Mercedes ML430, Toyota Tacoma, Mercedes 300SD.

Government program may offer better mortgage rates
Unlike conventional mortgages, you don’t have to have great credit or a long credit history to qualify. In most cases, you can even get a USDA home loan with a small down payment – or no down payment at all — as long as you don’t have considerable assets to your name. And unlike most low- or no-down-payment mortgage programs, you don’t need to be a first-time home buyer to take advantage of USDA loans. Not for city lots: http://eligibility.sc.egov.usda.gov/eligibility/welcomeAction.do

ObamaCare is a hit with insurance salespeople
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services estimates that more than 77,000 brokers and agents assisted with enrollments on the federally-facilitated marketplace in year two open enrollment, up 46% from the year prior. About 6.6 million U.S. taxpayers paid a penalty imposed for the first time this year for not having health insurance, about 10% more than the Obama administration had estimated – though a portion didn’t need to.

SCAMS           Can we afford to keep paying $700 Billion a year for WWII deployments? That is 27 cents of each dollar in taxes—the largest part of our money—and we aren’t even at war. We could pay off our debts and fix our schools, roads and bridges! We are paying for 164,253 of our active-duty armed personnel to be in 150 countries around the world. We have about 50,000 in Japan and 50,000 in Germany.
We are spending $8 million per HOUR on our wars in Iraq/Afgan

The War on Terror requires special forces attacks on top terrorists at their homes like Obama’s al-Amr May14 Abu killIraq proved converting a nation to Western-style republic doesn’t work. The troops we trained ran away, left our stuff. Training and more stuff for what? Former Saddam army now ISIS. We are wasting $4 billion a year on Afgan tribal rivalries; paying ransom to Al Qaeda; supporting corruption with our money.

We are building another military base for Japan at Henoko. Air Force Gen. Ronald Fogelman admitted that the Marines “serve no military function there. They don’t need to be in Okinawa to meet any time line in any war plan.”

Are we preparing for WWII again? There are 1,208,083[1] armed personnel in the United States. Our taxes pay for about HALF of the WORLD’s military expenditures every year. We have wasted $398.6 billion so far on the F-35 program—they can’t fly safely.
We just can’t afford to pay for everyone else’s defenses anymore.
Japan, Germany and S. Korea can pay to defend themselves.

GM murdered 114 people but not even indicted
The official death toll from faulty ignition switches they knew about in General Motors small cars has risen to 114. GM has made “compensation” offers to 245 other victims’ families. NO ONE is going to jail despite the cover up!

Honda Finance caught charging you more
Honda’s past practices resulted in thousands of African-American, Hispanic, and Asian and Pacific Islander borrowers paying higher interest rates than white borrowers for their auto loans, without regard to their creditworthiness. As part of today’s order, Honda will change its pricing and compensation system to substantially reduce dealer discretion and minimize the risks of discrimination, and will pay $24 million in restitution to affected borrowers.

Nike uses Obama trade deal to evade more taxes
Nike Chief Mark Parker praised the trade agreement, which could boost the company’s financials by lowering U.S. tariffs on athletic shoes made in Vietnam. The company said the trade deal could help it create thousands more jobs in the U.S. over the next decade. That is 100 jobs per year in normal turnover. “The savings from tariffs from Nike and other firms would more likely go to profits than they would accrue to the lowering of prices for consumers,” said Rep. DeFazio. According to its 2012 Annual Report, Nike placed a profit of almost $7 billion at the bank accounts of dozens of its subsidiaries in Bermuda. Nike shows real chutzpa: the offshore shell companies use the names of shoe models: Air Max Limited, Nike Flight, Nike Pegasus, Nike Tailwind and of course Nike Waffle.

The SEC examined 44 securities firms and found over a THIRD were not being honest about pros and cons of these market securities. Only commissioned securities-licensed brokers can sell these complicated (hidden fees/tricks) investments. With some, you may earn 4% on your money but the sellers take 3.5% every year no matter what you earn. If you have an emergency and need the money, you give up 7-10% of your account. The attractive “guarantees” are expensive—yes, you get income forever IF you live long enough to collect (death stops payments) BUT your monthly check does not go up with inflation (unless you pay extra). Regulators to monitor retiree products
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission launched a program to ensure brokerages and financial advisors are offering reasonable investment advice and disclosing conflicts to retirement-age investors. "Retirement-Targeted Industry Reviews and Examinations (ReTIRE) will make sure brokers don’t sell inappropriate products to line their own pockets as they have in the past. SEC will monitor their disclosing conflicts related to their compensation, kickbacks and personal relationships with manufacturers. Working millionaires don’t fit the picture
People who have learned to live with their self-made wealth look like your neighbor. No fancy stuff and no wasted expenses. These folks simply don’t care about their ride and other “signs” of the rich. They are delighted to buy what they want AFTER they wait for it to go on sale or find it used. They love value—quality at the right price. Experiences are valued over things. They know what is important to them and grow wealth. http://www.amazon.com/The-Working-Millionaire-Self-insure-Self-fund/dp/1460945484

Pay per mile insurance in IL, VA, and MA
Metromile, an insurer that uses telematics to charge customers variable premiums based on how many miles they drive, is expanding to Virginia today. The company also recently began selling products in Illinois and opened a second office in Boston.
Metromile has also introduced Metromile Tag to help drivers who don't feel ready for per-mile insurance yet. The device provides many of the same features without having to plug into the OBD-II port. Drivers need to test the insurer before rates are compared.

DEM crazies
Using an off-color word to describe his anger, Martin O'Malley, a Democratic candidate for president, called for a new national assault weapons ban and other gun control measures in an email sent to supporters after the shooting deaths at a South Carolina black church. Congress is a captive of the NRA—no amount of deaths will break their hold. Remember Sandy Hook parents actually met Congress face-to-face: 20 children gunned down and Congress did not even debate it. Nothing.

GOP crazies
The economist that Republicans handpicked to run the Congressional Budget Office just told Republicans that one of their favorite arguments about Obamacare is wrong. Repeal will cost more than keeping uninsured insured. Repeal adds $137 billion to the federal deficit over the coming decade not to mention the suffering of the uninsured.

Gun license law reduced killings by 40%--NRA is wrong—guns kill people
Connecticut’s “permit-to-purchase” law was actually a huge success for public safety.
In a study released Thursday in the American Journal of Public Health, they estimate that the law reduced gun homicides by 40 percent between 1996 and 2005. That’s 296 lives saved in 10 years.

GOP Cruz on killings: Asked why it has been difficult for GOP to acknowledge the racial aspect of the incident, Cruz said he didn't accept the premise of the question. "I don't think we should be using this tragedy to try and divide people.” "There's a famous saying, praise the Lord and pass the ammunition," he said. "You know the great thing about the state of Iowa is, I'm pretty sure you all define gun control the same way we do in Texas -- hitting what you aim at."

Jeb on killings: “I don’t know” if white supremacist suspect was motivated by racism.
This comes from the same ideology of Ms Bachmann: The founding fathers ended slavery EVEN though some owned slaves. Yet Jeb knew enough to take down the Rebel flag in FL when Gov.

Lindsey Graham isn’t pretending the murders were about religion or insisting that we can’t tell yet what motivated the attack. Instead, Graham openly recognizes that this attack was racially motivated — and says that America has a long way to go in the racial relations department. He did NOT ask to take down treason (insurrection to legal gov) flag or ban gun sales to unlicensed, however.

NRA blames killing on minister—are you kidding me?
Charles Cotton, National Rifle Association executive in Texas, has come under fire for suggesting that a South Carolina lawmaker and pastor slain with eight members of his congregation bears some of the blame for his opposition to permitting concealed handguns in church.
This is same racism: “If they were not black, they would not have been shot.”

GOP Perry on killings: “This is the M.O. of this administration, anytime there is a accident like this,” Perry told Steve Malzberg. “You know, the president’s clear. He doesn’t like for Americans to have guns, and so he uses every opportunity — this being another one — to basically go parrot that message.” “Roof, may have been “medicated”.” Perry needs dictionary on “accident” and a degree in mental health.

GOP recipients of Roof’s white hate group money = Cruz, Paul, Santorum, Romney. Now you know who the radical racists support!

Antonin Scalia, Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito voted to end our health care but keep their own, which we taxpayers pay for. Luckily Roberts/Kennedy saw the ABYSS ahead: “Congress passed the Affordable Care Act to improve health insurance markets, not to destroy them.” 6 Supremes upheld the nationwide availability of tax subsidies that are crucial to Obama's signature healthcare.
Obama’s 2nd win this week—Obama got trade deal so Nike can continue to make sneakers for 50 cents/hour in Vietnam and increase untaxed profits from lower tariff! ObamaCare stands until 2017 at least.

Is your broker overcharging you?
Regulators review involves overcharges paid by charities and retirement accounts that invested in funds sold by brokerages. BoA’s Merrill had to reimburse customers $24.4 million, in addition to $64.8 million it had already repaid, making the total payout about $97.2 million including the fine. Other brokers will likely be fined but none indicted.

SCAMS           Why are we still paying $700 Billion a year for WWII deployments? That is 27 cents of each dollar in taxes—the largest part of our money—and we aren’t even at war. We could pay off our debts and fix our schools, roads and bridges!
We are paying for 164,253 of our active-duty armed personnel to be in 150 countries around the world. We have about 50,000 in Japan and 50,000 in Germany.

JapanGermany and S. Korea can pay to defend themselves.

Our gov is spending $8 million per HOUR on our wars in Iraq/Afgan
The War on Terror requires special forces attacks on top terrorists at their homes like Obama’s al-Amr May14 Abu killIraq proved converting a nation to Western-style republic doesn’t work. The troops we trained ran away, left our stuff. Training and more stuff for what? Former Saddam army now ISIS. We are wasting $4 billion a year on Afgan tribal rivalries; paying ransom to Al Qaeda; supporting corruption with our money.

GM murdered 114 people but GM not even indicted
The official death toll from faulty ignition switches in General Motors small cars has risen to 114. GM has made “compensation” offers to 245 other victims’ families. NO ONE is going to jail despite the cover up! Regulators admit did not push GM to accountability for deaths. Investigators repeatedly missed opportunities to identify the defective ignition switch, the audit said. They do not thoroughly screen consumer complaints, despite receiving more than 300 per day, and do not verify manufacturers’ reports on complaints.
Auto makers and regulators know there is no punishment for bad work.

Advisor stole life savings of teachers and clergy
Paul Donnahue Williamson, of Palmetto BayFla., has agreed to pay almost $800,000 in disgorgement fees after allegedly orchestrating a Ponzi scheme. Earlier this month, the Securities and Exchange Commission charged Williamson with siphoning money from his investment fund for personal use and defrauding his investors, which included retired local teachers and law enforcement officers. No jail time!
