Go to the games and avoid taxes

Another way wealthy avoid fair tax share: go to the games
The wealthy are watching their favorite sports team as owners. They avoid paying their fair share of taxes. With a $1 million paper loss at a sports team, they might shield from taxes a real $1 million in profit from their regular business. They could own many rental properties and a car dealer. After they have spent years writing off their real profits with paper losses, they can sell their interest and use the profits to buy another paper “loser.” Since they are not an employee, they avoid the payroll taxes that the average citizen must pay up to 33% of income. They live on capital gains and loans from their portfolios and end up paying under 18% like Buffett, Romney and Kerry. You may even avoid taxes altogether like Trump did in 1978-79 due to depreciation on properties.

GOP voted our taxes for Trump convention riot gear and Flint water disaster
We pay $50 million for riot gear so GOP can have a Trump convention in Cleveland. Our tax dollars will pay $300 Billion to fix GOP mistakes in Flint. GOP will NOT pay to protect all of us from Zika infestation and vaccine. Ryan had said he wanted to get ahead of the crisis but changed GOP priorities. GOP wants no regulations yet tax payers have to clean up the mess they make. Inciting hate and lead in water are manmade crises.
KY and KS will close schools and highways before reinstate tax on wealthy. NJ and KS will default on employee pension obligations before reinstate wealth tax. Wealthy avoid paying their share of society costs so they have more in the future.

GOP votes to end Fiduciary Rule in first month
The House has taken the first step to eliminating Obama’s mandate that retirement plan advisors always put their clients’ financial interests above their own. They have also prepared to file documents in support of industry lawsuits in the federal courts. This move comes as the industry has already watered down the original Rules and delayed full implementation. Currently, advisors can provide products/advice that meet a lower standard (suitability) and may be very costly to clients. The industry does not want to give up the lucrative “transfer of 401k assets” business to the not-for-profits like TIAA, USAA and Vanguard.

Are hedge funds right for you … even for your pension?
NY just told its hedge fund managers to sell their country homes and jets. NY joined CA pension funds in dropping these expensive Wall Street tricks after some lost 18% in two years. Any long-term investment must rely on real dividends and gains not on complicated hedging strategies that gain from gambling on quick return tricks. The fact that a hedge manager may make a brilliant move one year or two does not predict future brilliance. Rather it shows that luck may be the real source of outsize returns. Long-term returns are created by buying and holding solid companies at the right price. Warren Buffett has earned 19.7% on average since 1965 by doing just that.
Since you can’t know the future, use unbiased advice: http://www.amazon.com/Buffett-Bogle-Holy-Bible-Investment/dp/1523693045

Are Vanguard mutual funds right for you?
Vanguard took in more deposits than all others COMBINED in March. Is Vanguard, which is owned by its depositors, right for you? Like most shoppers, Vanguard knows that costs matter. Forbes proved it. If I pay TEN times the cost of investments for nearly the same result, I am going to lose eventually. For instance, my broker manages all my money in one account. The actual investment vehicle also has its own charges. My total charges are 2% per year. I don’t mind when the return is 20%. However, when I earn only 6%, the 2% cost really hurts. That 2% over my whole life of investing can lower my total by 63%. That means I give up HALF my retirement money to my broker!

60 Minutes reveals life insurers may keep your benefits—cash it in now?
April 17 program shows how they may legally pay your money to themselves and drain your life policy of cash value. Regulators have not been able to close or change some insurers because loopholes in law. Even when insurers know beneficiaries are due the benefits, they keep the money. Kemper says your money belongs to them legally. You may have a benefit waiting and you won’t be notified. Insurers don’t have to tell you and so will keep your benefits. If you wish to leave a legacy, life insurance may NOT be the best way to do that. You can leave money to our family a safer way. When you leave securities in an account, they inherit tax FREE just like life insurance.

GOP Religionists make TN next “genitals” inspection state and RCC immune
TN GOP delays a bill that would require students in public school grades K-12 and higher education institutions to use the restroom that corresponds with their sex at birth. GOP said corporate threats and competing protestors had nothing to do with the delay action. GOP will push schools to carry out monitor programs on their own. One gay student said the legislation would “legalize bullying” and “stigmatize and humiliate” transgender students.
Meanwhile, GOP states have blocked sex abuse victims from suing priests and the bishops that hid crimes. Not a single bishop has been called to account by the tribunal, which itself remains more notional than real. Despite Francis pledging accountability, nothing has happened.
Religionists have protected their powerful supporters and are growing the 2nd largest religious group—the nones.

Does our President need to be smart and truthful? Do they even care about truth?

America's future?

America’s future?
GOP experiment fails: Cut taxes—no services, no jobs, no freedom
GOP KS Gov Brownback’s “experiment” tax cuts create debt downgrades, weak growth, and school finances under court direction. The Kansas City Star’s reported KS lost another 1,900 jobs in February and now has 5,400 fewer jobs than it did one year ago: “Growth” rate of -0.4% is first time in five years and worst in the nation. Koch owns KS politics but is expanding SC jobs, not KS. OH and WI cut school funding for rich tax cuts too.
KS has now legalized discrimination by religion on campus. No more open university for learning and experimenting with beliefs. YOU are now excluded from groups legally!
John Birch and KKK alive and well in KS!  GA is next to OK discrimination.

Are stock tip sheets right for you?
“Market conditions now match those when stocks were at their November peak. Sell your stocks now or you'll wish you had…” Ken Goldberg, TheStreet.com says his chart says to sell and buy the stocks he says will save you from impoverishment. Do these services that cost $200 and up help you … or just the promoters. If you buy these stocks with “serious upside potential” you will need to sell the ones they recommended last week. Oh?!. Can you beat the market by buying and selling? Can Jim Cramer really make you rich? Can your advisor beat a low-cost index every year?
One guy has been successful making his fellow owners millionaires and billionaires: http://www.amazon.com/Warren-Buffett-can-make-millionaire/dp/1530555981

How do advisors estimate your retirement fund growth?
Advisors use a number of methods to estimate how much you may have upon retirement and how long your funds will last. They should mention that none of their computer models nor years of experience nor education can accurately predict their answers. Depending on how much is in your account and the investment risk you are willing to take, they can forecast the future value of your fund using this calculator: http://www.moneychimp.com/calculator/compound_interest_calculator.htm. For instance, if you have $250,000 and you are investing $3,000 a year for the next 20 years at 8% net earnings (after fees, taxes, etc), you might have $1.4 million. But that does not count inflation. At 3%, the account might have HALF that in purchasing power by then. Another way to estimate your retirement income is using a model called the Monte Carlo method. Using 5,000 different market conditions, you see how much you could spend after inflation. Note an equal ratio of stocks/bonds makes success more likely. https://retirementplans.vanguard.com/VGApp/pe/pubeducation/calculators/RetirementNestEggCalc.jsf

Is your bank helping the wealthy break the law?
JP Morgan Chase helped Madoff create the largest ponzi in history according to one of Madoff’s victims. Morgan paid a fine but no banker went to jail. Obama did not pursue them. How many other wealthy people are Wall Street banks assisting in breaking the law? Would the gov tell us even if they bothered to look? Don’t the gov ministers come from the same firms they should be regulating?

Is your advisor helping you reach YOUR goals or theirs?
What is your advisor’s annual total return? Take the amount invested 10 years ago and the amount now and compare (without new contributions). Are you better off now by 140%? By 57%? If not your advisor may be doing better than you are and it’s time to let Warren make you a millionaireHis holding company BRK.B is up 140% since 2006. The market is up 57%. Where is your account? Perhaps it’s time to switch!

Did you receive your refunds yet?
The average fed and state is about $3,000. How long would it take your INVESTED refunds to reach $1,000,000? 50 years, 40, 30 or 20 years? It costs just $12.95 to start $1 million fund yourself. Salespeople can take 63% of your accumulations over time.

GOP bag man wants to “neuter” top Dem (GOP always talking genitals?)
Top consumer protector Liz Warren was attacked by the GOP rep from MO. According to Warren, Rep Luetkemeyer is a “Wall Street yes-man” who has accepted “nearly a million dollars from the big banks, hedge funds and credit card companies. Luetkemer has also sponsored bills in the past that would curb Department of Justice crackdowns on predatory lenders and another that would reduce oversight of payday lenders. Last year, the Center for Responsive Politics found that Luetkemeyer ranks among the top 10 recipients of campaign contributions from payday and short-term lenders, who pray on consumers with loan rates that make the mafia blush—400%.

My estate plan cost nothing to establish and fund—heirs pay no taxes
If you leave your IRA, annuity or 401k to your heirs when you pass, they may receive a huge tax bill from the IRS and state treasurer. All deferred savings plans are deferred meaning you or your heirs must pay income tax on the gains. If your heirs are in their prime earning years, they may get bumped into the higher tax bracket. They may pay 40% of your legacy to tax authorities. I will avoid this problem by using a special IRS tax-FREE account that I have funded for the last 10 years. I avoided all the legal costs of an estate plan and establishing a trust. I have both at no charge.
You can avoid the legacy costs—including heir income taxes: http://www.amazon.com/Create-Your-Tax-FREE-Financial-System/dp/1466367466

Consumer Reports on your best and worst buys: vehicles
Reviews show US car makers still have a distance to travel for Americans even though most of the best are made in America. It ranks automakers across the world by reliability, road test performance and other factors. For the second year in a row, Lexus topped the list, nearly matched by Mazda, and followed by Toyota and Audi. The bottom of the list included Ford, Dodge, BMW Mini, Jeep and Fiat.

Is critical illness insurance right for you?
It sounds like insurance you should have but remember what happened to Donny Ray Black in Grisham’s The Rainmaker. Your insurer knows the game better than you do so have your financial advisor or lawyer investigate the policy first. You must be “sick as they define it.” Your doctor doesn’t decide if you get paid. Benefits of $5,000 to $100,000 are paid if you meet all their conditions. It costs $25 to $50 a month. You could have Vanguard take $50 a month out of your checking to invest over time for $100,000. Most people cancel before they use policy. At least Vanguard gives you your money back. And if you don’t need it, you can use the money for other things.

.AL GOP Gov Bentley reversed the minimum wage increase Birmingham gave to workers last month back to $7.25 in order to give 4 friends raises of $73,405 on $91,000.
Why would Alabama voters vote GOP to lower their wages?
.FBI faking it: a group of Johns Hopkins University researchers has found a bug in Apple’s encryption, one that would enable a skilled attacker to decrypt iphones.
.KY changes marriage cert so Kim Davis does not have to sign GOP religion wins!

SCAMS
Doctors who receive payments from the medical industry do indeed tend to prescribe drugs differently than their colleagues who don’t. And the more money they receive, on average, the more brand-name medications they prescribe. Doctors who received industry payments were two to three times as likely to prescribe brand-name drugs at exceptionally high rates as others in their specialty. Medicare data only.

Service people are targeted more than other groups.
Debt collectors harass them by going to commanders about unproven debt or medical debt not paid by the VA. Improper credit reporting gives service people bad rating which affects all financials--insurance, mortgage and sometimes job acceptance.

Our Congressmen get rich using insider info illegal for us

Congressmen become the super rich using insider info that is illegal for us
Among the powerful politicians, the portfolios of Republicans outperform the market by 32.05% to 36.19% under a one-week holding period. “Our results imply that the performance of congressional portfolios is mostly driven by private information” that they have and we don’t “based on their power and party membership," Serkan Karadas, economist, Sewanee: The University of the South, writes in the study.
Worse, Congress passed a law that says they are above the law (Insider trading is illegal for us). The study, which looked at almost 62,000 trades made by members of Congress in 2004-2010, found outperformance of 22.13 to 24.16% under a one-week holding period on an annual basis. That short-term outperformance is significant, implying that the politicians were trading on time-sensitive information. Worse, Republicans with little financial experience are beating Wall Street’s “top traders.”

GOP tax plan failure in KS & MI is warning for US
Econ “trickle down” does NOT work! GOP tried to make Kansas a Tea Party showcase, but it has created a budget gap of $190 million just like Bush2. KS has fewer services while small biz pays nothing. US was prosperous in ‘50s 60s with tax rates at 90%. Regulations are needed! GOP in MI tried to save money by poisoning Flint children with lead. It cost $14 to test water BEFORE changing sources.
Wealthy love these low tax schemes and take their money to Caymans. They don’t build more factories in US but in cheap labor countries.

Where is the new tax evasion (insider trading) money going?
This yacht firm’s growth estimate is about 20 percent growth in the client base between now and 2020. You can pick up a used Sunseeker for only $2.5 mil. Many KS lawyers are putting their former tax money in art. Since 2012, professional offices (dr, esq, cfa) have invested in yachts and art work. Congressmen with gains of 36% keep their money offshore like Mitt Romney. Job creating factories are a waste of capital with global markets with cheap labor. Like 26 of the most profitable US firms, they use their tax evasion money outside America—yachts, art, foreign subsidiaries, St Kitts estates.

GOP wins: Washington just cancelled your Social Security benefits!
Consider using the three benefits that Congress has decided to take away from us without discussion. You may apply before April if they help you maximize your Social Security benefits. They are technical so you may have to go to a SS office to make sure you qualify. You may double your benefits if you have to file early (age 62) because you have no job. You lose 25% for life if you don’t wait to age 67 but you could use spousal if file by April. If you are divorced, you may still collect from your EX’s account but you must meet the requirements. Check it out before April.

File your simple tax return for FREE
Many sites provide FREE federal e-file but charge $13 for state e-filing. The IRS approves these firms: https://www.irs.gov/uac/Free-File:-Do-Your-Federal-Taxes-for-Free. We are on our own: 51 million taxpayers called the IRS with questions in 2015.
"I've tried to call them," says Lisa Ross, "I gave up." After waiting on hold for hours, some taxpayers were forced to give up. Do what you think is right (Google it) and send. Check if your preparer is legit at https://www.irs.gov/Tax-Professionals/Choosing-a-Tax-Professional. Free fed and state is offered for simple returns at https://www.taxact.com/index.asp and at http://www.olt.com/main/oltfree/default.asp

Where is the best place to put your tax refund?
The average refund is about $3,000. It is really forced savings at 0% interest. We can spend the money or pay off debt or invest it and earn 8% instead. The market is down 8% so far this year. The market will eventually return that 8% and more. Guess what the smartest investor is doing with this market collapse—Buffett is buying! He is buying energy stocks. Why? Because we panic and sell energy at bottom—down 28%. Buffett is buying a bargain again just like he did with Coke and AMEX last century. He knows that $30 oil can’t last long. Make Warren Buffett your advisor now.

What should you do if your broker has you in junk?
He told you bonds were safer than stocks. She had you buy high income bonds or their funds because you were tired of earning 2% on your money. Now with losses of 20% brokers can’t answer the phone fast enough. But who would buy these losses now? What should you do? If you sell, you lock in a loss so hold on for oil and commodities to rebound. If you have more than 10% of your portfolio in junk, especially “level 3” bonds, you may want to rebalance. You may be better off (more stable income) using a balanced fund like Vanguard’s Wellesley Income Fund which has provided almost 10% annually since 1970. It is one of Vanguard’s Top Ten of all time. http://www.amazon.com/Vanguards-Top-Ten-mutual-funds/dp/150073909X

Why are investors moving from expensive advisors to Vanguard?
Vanguard, which offers passively managed funds, had $236 billion new money in 2015 – the largest in the industry. Investors are quitting active money managers. Reason: costs and wild swings in value. Investors realize it is VERY difficult to find a manager who is right when the market falls and rises quickly. They see hedge funds being trimmed savagely. They understand that if markets earned 1.3% in 2015 and their advisor cost 1.3% they end up with nothing. Average returns (11%) don’t look as bad as broker’s say they do. Investors realize that Wall Street can take up to 63% of their accumulations over time. AND Vanguard has licensed reps you can reach for help when needed:  http://www.amazon.com/Wall-Street-Cleans-Up-Advisors/dp/1517043255

Even wealthy families are cutting out the middlemen to save fees
More wealthy families are using their own expertise to do their own private equity deals, especially for the $500,000 to $5 million direct or co-investment deals, according to Family Office Club data. Over time, a 2% cost (1.3% plus trading costs plus taxes from trading plus BD charges) can take up to 63% of your potential accumulation.
