Yes, many wealthy working people got rich and stay rich by shopping for the best price/value for their situation. They got wealthy by saving and avoiding wasting money on stuff they did not need. You may do the same but the wealthy got that way by doing bargains for everything. They don’t pay their financial services person 1-2% of their portfolio every year. That $5-10,000 a year savings goes straight into their low-cost mutual fund account.
