people who could be our misinformed voters too. Even more Americans are being
told there is no
human global warming by their leaders. Some are being told ‘don’t
worry about losing your home’. Some of the children in this country are
being told that weather

Perhaps it explains how the GOP is actually considering canceling the health
care used by 23 Million of their fellow citizens, probably sentencing some of
them to death. Some citizens think God created the earth in
7 days so scientific knowledge is fake. Some citizens believe that science
is anti-religion and mistrust
what science says. They are happy to use their cell phone but dispute the scientific
findings that created them. Since these children are taught
not to believe in science, they don’t become scientists. Where will that
leave us after America
stops making scientists or welcoming
them from around the world based on their knowledge not religion? International
students make up more
than half of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM)
advanced degrees earned at American colleges.
When I hear GOP religionists, I ask, “Who
benefits from the science misinformation”? Koch Industries? Putin? Congress
people due for re-election? Political
pastors?
